Cell Culture/Hybridoma Facility
The facility is a biomedical core facility of the School of Medicine of Stony Brook University, providing services to over 75 labs throughout the University and the surrounding area.
We are located in room 233 of the Life Sciences Building.
Services include:
• Providing monolayer, suspension and hybridoma cultures from a large cell bank on-site or from investigators' stock
• Mycoplasma testing, PCR method
• Custom hybridoma development
• Large-scale monoclonal antibody production and quantitation
• Selling media, sera and cell culture supplements at reduced cost to University investigators
