Applications for September admission to the Graduate Program in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology should be submitted by January 15. Applicants who submit their applications by January 5 will be given the highest priority and will be considered for nomination for campus-wide graduate student fellowships. Applicants are strongly encouraged to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) -- General and Biology Subject -- early enough to meet this deadline. These examinations should be taken by October at the latest to ensure receipt of the scores by the application deadline. Please note that the Program does not offer admission in the Spring semester.
